Tables & Fables se plantea como un estudio de los elementos que componen el objeto “mesa” y de las relaciones de poder y dependencia que se desarrollan en torno a esta estructura.
La mesa es observada aquí como plataforma arquitectónica de reducido tamaño y cuya fortuna depende de los elementos sustentantes: las patas; soportes que, en Tables & Fables, se convierten en elementos que personifican los actores participantes en la reunión, representados a partir de una selección del imaginario de muebles literarios e históricos.
Tables & Fables is conceived as a study of the elements that compose the object “table” and of the relations of power and dependence that develop around this structure.
The table is observed here as an architectural platform of reduced size whose fortune depends on the supporting elements: the legs; supports that, in Tables & Fables, become elements that personify the actors involved in the meeting, represented from a selection of imaginary literary and historical furniture.
